How do I secure Broadcast Distribution?

Example: PBS

PBS has a clear and public submission process you can find here. They state that they are committed to reviewing and considering each proposal submitted to us for consideration. However, a standard response timeframe cannot be guaranteed due to the volume of proposals received. In practice, our goal is to contact producers about their proposed projects within 4-6 weeks. PBS’s distribution schedule is determined 6-12 months in advance, so please keep this in mind when submitting timely programs.
